If there was only one stipulation you could choose for your foundation what would it be? (“Being the right shade and not being cakey” doesn’t count because they should already be adhering to that policy).
I’ll bet you are saying that you want it to last all day, right? Raise your hand if your foundation is practically invisible by 5 o’clock. Believe me, I’ve been there. There’s a little secret to combat that: Primer.
Primer will help significantly in holding your foundation on and help make it look it’s best. Now of course, great foundation comes from great skin so you can not use primer as a fixer to mask all of those flakes or breakouts but it will certainly help. Primer creates a layer on the skin so that your foundation has a smooth base to sit on. It helps to prevent it from showing fine lines, wrinkles, and pores.
Most primers don’t clog pores (If you are taking your foundation off at the end of the day) and many of them are multi-functional: Anti-aging, color-correcting, etc.
